Great Books For Christian Singles -- Single Christians And The Church
72Single In A Couples World
Are you a Christian single living in a "couples world?" Do you feel like an outsider, even in church? You are not alone.
Single men and women make up nearly 50 percent of the adult population in the United States. However, as the singles population increases, many American churches are giving less attention to their single adults.
Christian churches are traditionally family-oriented. In their attempt to address the special needs of a growing singles population, they often substitute programs for relationships. This is an unfortunate occurrence, but a common one in churches today.
Several great books address the topic of Christian singles and the church, and this hub highlights six of them. They are recommended for Christian singles, as well as singles ministry leaders.
If you are a Christian single, these books will challenge you to make connections and give more of yourself to the church. If you are ministry leader, these books can serve as a guide to help you reach the single adults in your church.
