MyRightSomeone gives unmarried Christians a new way to meet marriage-minded singles who share their faith, values, and worldview. The relatively new service blends social networking with interactive capabilities, in a format that is fun to use and easy to navigate.
Serving Christian Singles
MyRightSomeone serves believers in ten Christian denominations: Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Christian Church, Eastern Orthodox, Evangelical, Lutheran, Methodist, Pentecostal, and Presbyterian.
While inter-denominational dating can present challenges, MyRightSomeone takes measures, such as a Statement of Faith agreement) to ensure that all members share one belief: that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
MyRightSomeone gives singles many resources to help them in their search for love, including love assessment tools and books for Christian singles. Annette,
A very nice hub.
I know we just started to follow each other so you may not have read many of my articles. But I have admitted and speak often about not having faith, my reasons are mine. But I also do not want to be called an atheist. Many of them that do are very radical. I have no problem with saying God when I recite the pledge. I have no problem with the ten commandments in the courthouses, after all they were the base of our laws. If one is as strong as a patriot as me, they have to acknowledge that.If I go to diner with friends that want to pray before we eat, I bow my head in silence while they pray. When in chuch for a wedding I respect the actions of the service.
Having said that I am not a fan of anything that restricts anything. I understand and respect peoples beliefs in their faith and understand some who only want someone in thier faith. But to me it represents people not being open minded. Just as I am against those who do not want Christmas displays, prayer in school and more.
I will admit that since my divorce, I did date a few woman. I had 3 of them stop only because I told them I was not a believer. I visited one 4 months after she broke up with me. She was severly beaten almost to death by the gentleman she met in church. She was suprised I went to visit her and told me she was wrong for what she did and was sorry for it. See I was not upset that she broke up with me, we all need to find the right one, but she blew me off not for a good reason. I mean if I was cruel, mistreated her, gave her no repsect I could see it.
Not all of us who do not have faith as terrible people. To me discrimination is discrimination, whether it be color, or in this case religion.
Sorry for my soap box there, but I just have an issue with discrimination. It was a very good article. voted up and awesome.
I met my husband on Together Christian in Sept 2009 and we got married in July 2010. I had been divorced for almost a year when I considered dating again, never imagining that I would get married again anytime soon. He was only the second date I ever had after my divorce. For dating purposes, I only wanted to meet Christians because it was such a fundamental part of who I am.

A good idea for lonely people.
Meeting up with someone of the same faith brings success in partnerships/marriages.
Voted interesting!
