A good idea for lonely people.

Meeting up with someone of the same faith brings success in partnerships/marriages.

Voted interesting!

Thank you, LadyLyell. I look at my own marriage as a "cord of three strands" -- my husband, myself, and God. Our shared faith makes it so much stronger. Have a lovely weekend!

Annette,

A very nice hub.

I know we just started to follow each other so you may not have read many of my articles. But I have admitted and speak often about not having faith, my reasons are mine. But I also do not want to be called an atheist. Many of them that do are very radical. I have no problem with saying God when I recite the pledge. I have no problem with the ten commandments in the courthouses, after all they were the base of our laws. If one is as strong as a patriot as me, they have to acknowledge that.If I go to diner with friends that want to pray before we eat, I bow my head in silence while they pray. When in chuch for a wedding I respect the actions of the service.

Having said that I am not a fan of anything that restricts anything. I understand and respect peoples beliefs in their faith and understand some who only want someone in thier faith. But to me it represents people not being open minded. Just as I am against those who do not want Christmas displays, prayer in school and more.

I will admit that since my divorce, I did date a few woman. I had 3 of them stop only because I told them I was not a believer. I visited one 4 months after she broke up with me. She was severly beaten almost to death by the gentleman she met in church. She was suprised I went to visit her and told me she was wrong for what she did and was sorry for it. See I was not upset that she broke up with me, we all need to find the right one, but she blew me off not for a good reason. I mean if I was cruel, mistreated her, gave her no repsect I could see it.

Not all of us who do not have faith as terrible people. To me discrimination is discrimination, whether it be color, or in this case religion.

Sorry for my soap box there, but I just have an issue with discrimination. It was a very good article. voted up and awesome.

Hello, American View! It's good to meet you here on HubPages. Thank you for reading my article, and for taking the time to share your personal viewpoint and insights.

The Internet is home to thousands of dating websites, designed to help people find like-minded partners. Different sites cater to different people, often based on religious views, demographics, interests, professions, and other dynamics. In fact, the most successful dating websites have specific target audiences.

Christian dating sites target marriage-minded Christians singles -- people who are passionate about their faith in Christ and want to share that in a marital relationship. Sites like MyRightSomeone are not intended to promote discrimination or intolerance, but to provide a little place in cyberspace for Christians to meet.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend’s experience with someone who claimed to follow Christ. Church attendance does not make one a Christian, and the man’s violent actions reveal the true condition of his heart. I am glad she found a friend in you.

Thanks, again, for stopping by and voting up! I’m grateful to have a new reader, and I look forward to your articles, too.

I met my husband on Together Christian in Sept 2009 and we got married in July 2010. I had been divorced for almost a year when I considered dating again, never imagining that I would get married again anytime soon. He was only the second date I ever had after my divorce. For dating purposes, I only wanted to meet Christians because it was such a fundamental part of who I am.

Hi, Lisa. Isn't it amazing how God works? How wonderful that He introduced you and your husband through Together Christian! Although I've dated someone I met through a Christian dating service (Christian Cafe), it was in church that I met the man who became my husband four years ago. Thanks so much for reading my hub and leaving a comment!
