Do you enjoy social networking, blogging, sharing pictures and chatting with friends? Do you want a clean, safe alternative to Facebook, MySpace and other social networks?

Give ShoutLife a try.

Fun and family friendly, this Christian community takes "a fresh approach to social networking." Blending innovative technologies with industry expertise, the ShoutLife environment is safe for everyone.

ShoutLife was founded by Paul McLellan in 2006, and it is unique among social sites. While it presents a safe haven for online socializing, it also has all the features you expect from a social service: unlimited photos, networks, events, blogging, instant messaging and more.

Members create personal or business profiles in specific categories: people, music, comedy, authors or organizations. The site welcomes donations to offset expenses, but registration is free and requires only a user name and password.

ShoutLife offers many reliable tools and technical support for profile development, online communication, marketing, gaming and more. If you're ready for a different kind of social media, sign up for ShoutLife and "shout about your life to the world!"

Clean, Fresh and Inclusive

ShoutLife is a Christian owned and operated service. While faith is important to its members, religion doesn't dominate the site. In a comment for the popular Mashable website, founder Paul McLellan says ShoutLife "does not shove Jesus down anyone's throat."

Based in Minnesota, the site uses a Nashville public relations company to promote faith based authors, musicians, comics and organizations. Many contemporary Christian artists and bands are represented on the site. While it's a good place to mingle with authors and musicians, the family friendly atmosphere is something anyone can enjoy.

Mashable founder Pete Cashmore remarked on the communal feel of the site. He said the religious aspect could give it an advantage over other social networks. Despite a large member base, the common belief system links everyone together, giving the ShoutLife community an inclusive feel.

Fun and Family Friendly

"ShoutLife believes in the institution of family, and that children are a heritage and a blessing," says the website's "About Us" page.

How does the service ensure a family friendly environment? With extra care and a little help from the ShoutLife community.

The site filters words in all posted content to limit exposure to offensive language. It also screens user profiles, photos and videos before allowing them to post.

ShoutLife encourages members to report offensive content, as well. This includes nudity, risque clothing, cybersex, obscenity, violence, harassment and anything that is blatantly disrespectful toward God, Jesus and other Christians.
